This is one of the most annoying events to complete, constantly sending your Discovery to die. But what if I told you that you didn’t have to? That your Disco can survive this event with a buggy officer? That officer is Severus.
So the bug with his ability is that his hull health damage doesn’t count as real damage. So when a battle is done, even if you’ve won or lost, you get all this health back and your ship doesn’t blow up. You will eventually die as the majority of the damage is still real damage and eventually you’ll run out of hull before Severus’ ability procs, but until then you can survive quite a few rounds.
So you can see quick kills, easy to complete the event. Just have both players have Severus as captain and have a burning officer on board as well.
