Borg Expansion Cube

With the new arcfall, there is a new group armada. This is meant to be fought with the Vi’dar Talios. You will slowly gain directives to fight this by killing Borg solo armadas. In addition, you will get an exocomp if you kill Borg solo armadas with a Talios as one of your ships. This will lower the damage of the expansion cubes and is called Foreknowledge. This stacks, so the more players with the exocomp active you have, the less damage it does, up to 84%.

The Talios should be the default ship to use against these from the beginning, as its ship ability will help it to defeat the cubes, and it seems it is the only ship to be able to use the exocomp.

Defeating these cubes will reward Vinculum Fragments which are used in the new Borg refinery for:

• Charged Nanoprobes
• Active Nanoprobes
• Borg SA Directives
• Vi’dar Talios Loot Consumable
